HI 23-01 Grange Historic Overlay Designation

In compliance with the Oregon State Goal 5, and the City's Comprehensive Plan, the City occasionally re-evaluates the historic resources in the community.  As such, the City is happy to announce that we are proposing to add a City Historic Zoning Overlay to the Morningstar Grange building located at 38794 NE Morningstar Road.  

The process will begin with the City Council initiating the effort.  Staff will then create a staff report and schedule the land use decision for a hearing.  

This project will require the first ever use of the Historic Commission here in Millersburg.  The Historic Commission uses the same members as the Planning Commission unless otherwise directed by the City Council.  The Commission will evaluate the proposal and make a recommendation to the City Council.
