Transition Parkway and Linear Park

Concept Plan

The City of Millersburg, Oregon  is currently working on an exciting new project.  As seen in the image above, a new street and park-like buffer with a off-street pathway are planned to help separate residential uses from industrial uses.  The project is located adjacent to and south of Conser Road roughly between Woods Road and Old Salem Road.   The improvements include a new arterial road, stormwater management facilities for the arterial road, an extension of water and sewer utilities in the arterial road ROW, and a linear park including a multi-use path to provide a buffer between the residential areas north of Conser Road and the industrial development.

The City has teamed with Jacobs Engineering to design the project.  Currently the City is in the design phase, with hopes of going out to bid for construction level documents in late 2023.

Please look through the documents on this page and feel free to contact us with questions.  Please keep a few things in mind as you explore-

  • These are still conceptual designs.  The project continues to evolve and improve every day, so these drawings and concepts are highly subject to change.  We are posting them here to convey the general idea, and we will try to keep this page updated, but the information here is not the final product.
  • This new street and park system will be paid for through the sale of City owned properties, through system development charges, and with State grants.  What that means is we need development to come along to help this happen.  The City is not going to build this street based purely on speculation.  The point is, as exciting as this project might be, it is tied to new industrial development, especially on the property south of Conser Road.
